My Journeys

Spain: Camino de Santiago from Sarria

The last 100km of the Camino Frances is known for its well-marked trails and breathtaking Galician countryside. I joined pilgrims from around the world on the ancient path to Santiago that has seen people from all walks of life for over 1200 years walking their way to purpose.

Costa Rica

Camino de Costa Rica: This 280km hike took me from the Caribbean black sand beaches, through small towns, lush forests, indigenous lands, sugar cane fields, and coffee plantations, while experiencing homestays with hospitable Ticos and delicious food, to finish in Quepos on the Atlantic coast. The country’s natural beauty includes waterfalls, volcanoes and cloud forests.

Cerro Chirripó: With deep humility, I summited the highest mountain in Costa Rica at 3,820m (12,533ft) in the beautiful area of Pérez Zeledón. This was a personal challenge as I struggle with a fear of heights and I’m grateful to my supportive companions.

England: Coast-to-Coast via Hadrian’s Wall

My journey across the north of England took me from the seaside town of Tynemouth on the north-east coast of England, west through the city of Newcastle, across green fields with cows, sheep, and wildflowers, through quaint towns kind people and mossy stone walls, finally reaching the city of Carlisle and then the north-west coastal town of Bowness-on-Solway. Here are a few highlights of this walk.

Nepal & The Himalayas

Nepal is a land rich with wonderful people, amazing cuisine, phenomenal biodiversity, ancient places of faith and contemplation, a vibrant music culture, and the rooftop of the world - the Himalayas. This unique country has safaris, stupas, and snow-capped mountains; delicious momos and calming mantras, breathtaking natural scenery, bridges with prayer flags flapping in the wind, and filling sherpa stew.
